Provincial Party Committee Secretary Trần Tiến Dũng inspects progress of school project in Thanh Yên commune

ĐBP - On June 18, Trần Tiến Dũng, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Điện Biên provincial Party Committee, and Head of the provincial National Assembly Deputy Delegation, alongside a working group, conducted a field inspection to evaluate the implementation progress of the Thanh Yên commune Inter-level Boarding Primary and Secondary School Project.

Joining the working group were Phạm Đức Toàn, Member of the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee and Head of the provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Organization; Nguyễn Sỹ Quân, Member of the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial Party Inspection Committee; along with leaders of provincial departments and sectors.

Directing an inspection right at the construction site, provincial Party Committee Secretary Trần Tiến Dũng evaluated the deployment progress of each item and listened to the investor’s report on the project’s execution status. According to the investor, up to this moment, the project has completed approximately 75% of the workload by contract value, covering both construction-installation and equipment. Capital disbursement has also been accelerated; cumulatively as of June 17, the disbursed capital reached VND 136.104 billion, equivalent to 68.05% of the assigned capital plan.

The Secretary requests the units to accelerate the pace and complete the project before August 30.

Following the field inspection, Secretary Trần Tiến Dũng requested the units to complete the entire project before August 30 to promptly put it into service for the 2026 - 2027 school year.

Emphasizing the heavy remaining workload, the Secretary requested the investor, contractors, and related units to maximally mobilize human resources, machinery, and equipment to focus on accelerating the construction progress. Specifically, they must formulate a detailed daily critical path schedule, ramp up recruitment, increase the regular workforce stationed at the site, and deploy multiple construction items concurrently. In tandem with speeding up construction, the units need to urgently finalize dossiers and carry out acceptance testing, payments, and capital disbursement in accordance with the plan.

The Thanh Yên Commune Inter-level Boarding Primary and Secondary School Project has completed 75% of its workload.

Secretary Trần Tiến Dũng also noted that progress must go hand in hand with quality, ensuring the aesthetics of the structure. At the same time, the units must strictly comply with regulations on labor safety as well as fire prevention and control both during construction and after the project is put into operation.
