At the end of January, youth members of the Mường Nhà Border Post collaborated with various associations and unions of Núa Ngam commune along with residents of bản Gia Phú A, bản Gia Phú B, bản Sơn Tống, and bản Huổi Chanh villages to launch an environmental cleanup campaign. This activity was carried out over a distance of more than 10km, not only creating a clean and beautiful landscape but also contributing practically to welcoming the election of delegates to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels.
While participating in this meaningful activity, officers and soldiers of the Mường Nhà Border Post integrated dissemination and dissemination to the people regarding the purpose, meaning, importance, and basic content of the election day. Through this, they raised awareness and responsibility for exercising civic rights and obligations, encouraging active participation in electing delegates with sufficient virtue and talent to represent the will, aspirations, and mastery of the people.
Nông Quang Thắng, Secretary of the Núa Ngam commune Party Committee, stated that the close coordination between border guards and local Party committees and authorities in dissemination work has contributed to creating high consensus among the people, helping election preparation in the area proceed smoothly and in accordance with legal regulations.
To step up dissemination for the election day of delegates to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term, the provincial Border Guard Command has led and directed units to promote mass mobilization and dissemination in the border area. This work is being widely implemented across 15 border communes of the province, with a focus on the areas under the Border Posts of Sen Thượng, Leng Su Sìn, Mường Nhé, Nậm Kè, Na Cô Sa, Nậm Nhừ, Nà Bủng, and the Huổi Puốc border gate. Through these efforts, the people’s confidence is consolidated, while political stability and social order are maintained in the region.
Senior Colonel Nhâm Văn Mạnh, Political Commissar of the provincial Border Guard Command, noted that the command has required units to organize and strictly, effectively implement mass mobilization. By disseminating information about the purpose and significance of the election to border residents, the command aims to enhance voter responsibility in selecting worthy delegates, ensuring the election takes place legally and safely.
The provincial Border Guard Command has also advised and coordinated closely with local Party committees, authorities, departments, and unions to encourage officers, soldiers, and residents to strictly follow Party guidelines and State laws, as well as regulations on political security and social order. At the same time, emulation movements, cultural exchanges, arts, and sports activities with local communities are being promoted to create an atmosphere of excitement and solidarity. The role of border guard Party members participating in village and bản branch meetings is being maximized, while those in charge of households in border areas work to grasp the thoughts and aspirations of the people. Units are focused on listening to and promptly resolving legitimate petitions to prevent “hot spots” or negative public opinion from affecting security and the election process.
With proactive and synchronous implementation of mass mobilization and election dissemination, the provincial border guard force is contributing significantly to ensuring that the election of delegates to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils for the 2026 - 2031 term is democratic, legal, safe, and effective. Furthermore, these efforts strengthen the trust of border residents in the Party and State, enhancing the great national unity bloc and maintaining political stability, social order, and national border sovereignty.
