Meeting with delegations attending national congresses of socio-political organizations

ĐBP - On the morning of June 1, the Standing Board of the Điện Biên provincial Party Committee met with the delegations of the province attending the national congresses of socio-political organizations for the 2026 - 2031 term.

Attending the meeting were Mùa A Vảng, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, and Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Bùi Minh Hải, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council; and leaders of provincial committees, departments, and branches.

At the meeting, Tẩn Minh Long, Vice Chairman of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and Chairman of the provincial Labor Confederation, reported on the situation of the delegations attending the national congresses of socio-political organizations for the 2026 - 2031 term.

Accordingly, the provincial delegation attending the 9th National Congress of the Vietnam Farmers’ Union consists of 12 members; 8 members will attend the 14th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union; 14 delegates will attend the 14th National Women’s Congress; 14 members will attend the 13th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union; and 6 delegates will attend the 8th Congress of the Vietnam Veterans Association. The national congresses of socio-political organizations for the 2026 - 2031 term will take place in June 2026 in Hà Nội.

Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Mùa A Vảng acknowledged and praised the serious and responsible preparation of the socio-political organizations in selecting and introducing delegations to attend the national congresses for the 2026 - 2031 term. The Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee emphasized that these are political events of significant importance, serving as major forums to summarize and evaluate the results of activities during the past term, while simultaneously setting out directions and tasks for the new period.

Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Mùa A Vảng requested the delegates to uphold the highest spirit of responsibility, wisdom, and bravery of the Điện Biên province delegation. They were urged to actively participate in contributing ideas to the contents of the Congress documents, especially issues related to the lives of association members, union members, and workers, and to promptly reflect difficulties and obstacles from grassroots reality. The Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee also reminded the delegations to strictly comply with the regulations and programs of the Congresses, maintaining the image and demeanor of Điện Biên province delegates at central forums.

On behalf of the delegations, Major General Lưu Trọng Lư, Vice Chairman of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and Chairman of the provincial Veterans Association, respectfully thanked the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee and leaders at all levels for their attention and encouragement. Concurrently, he committed to strictly complying with the regulations and programs of the Congresses; promoting the spirit of solidarity, proactively researching documents, and carefully preparing contents for discussion; and actively contributing practical opinions that accurately reflect grassroots reality, contributing to the overall success of the national congresses of socio-political organizations for the 2026 - 2031 term.
