Meeting on protecting the Party’s ideological foundation held in Điện Biên

ĐBP – The Điện Biên Provincial Police on Tuesday held a working session with the inspection team of the Steering Committee 35 on protecting the Party's ideological foundation and opposing hostile allegations.

The inspection team was led by Vũ Trọng Hà, Chief of the Office of the Steering Committee 35.

Delegates attend the working session at the headquarter of the Điện Biên Provincial Police.

Lò Thị Minh Phượng, Member of the Standing Committee and Head of the Provincial Party Publicity Committee, and Colonel Ngô Thanh Bình, Member of the Standing Committee and Director of the Provincial Police, were also in attendance.

At the working session, the inspection team listened to a brief report from the provincial police leaders on efforts to safeguard the Party's ideological foundation and counteract incorrect and hostile views in recent times.

Team members discussed and clarified results related to the cooperation and operational coordination of various forces in handling misinformation and harmful content. They also provided updates on ethnic and religious issues, assessed the local challenges, and suggested methods to enhance the fight against negative content on different social media platforms.

Furthermore, they emphasised the importance of collaborating with national media agencies, tracking articles and reports for effective communication and countermeasures, and addressing harmful content removal.

Vũ Trọng Hà, Chief of the Office of the Steering Committee 35, commended the provincial police for their achievements in implementing Resolution 35.

He also provided guidance on key areas for the provincial police to focus on moving forward. These include addressing the existing shortcomings, further deepening the understanding of the importance of safeguarding the Party’s ideological foundation, establishing effective coordination mechanisms among relevant units, improving dissemination efforts to promote positive information, and strengthening internal political security.
