At the conference, the provincial Military Command announced Decision No.3632/QĐ-BQP dated July 9, 2026, issued by the Minister of National Defense on dissolving Defensive Area Command Region 2 - Na Son and Defensive Area Command Region 4 - Mường Ảng of the provincial Military Command under the Military Region 2 Command.
Concurrently, Decision No.3639/QĐ-BQP dated July 9, 2026, issued by the Minister of National Defense was announced regarding the reorganization of Regional Defensive Area Commands into infantry regiments directly under the provincial Military Command, specifically reorganizing Defensive Area Command Region 1 - Mường Nhé into Infantry Regiment 11 and Defensive Area Command Region 2 - Na Sang into Infantry Regiment 12.
The provincial Military Command also announced decisions from the Executive Board of the provincial Military Party Committee on dissolving the Party Committees of Defensive Area Command Region 3 - Na Son and Defensive Area Command Region 4 - Mường Ảng, while announcing decisions reorganizing the Party Committee of Defensive Area Command Region 1 - Mường Nhé into the Party Committee of Regiment 11 and Defensive Area Command Region 2 - Na Sang into the Party Committee of Regiment 12.
Delivering directive remarks at the conference, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Lê Thành Đô requested the Party Committee of the provincial Military Command to continue comprehensive leadership and direction, creating all favorable conditions for the two regiments to rapidly stabilize their organizational structure and operate effectively. Concurrently, close coordination with provincial departments, sectors, and localities is required to guarantee barracks, training grounds, firing ranges, weapons, equipment, logistics, technical work, and full execution of regimes and policies for officers and soldiers.
Regarding departments, sectors, and local authorities, he asked for continued attention, coordination, and support to enable the two regiments to successfully fulfill their assigned tasks, contributing to constructing an all-people national defense closely linked with an increasingly solid people’s security disposition.
Addressing the Party Committees and Commands of Infantry Regiment 11 and Infantry Regiment 12, the Permanent Deputy Secretary demanded urgent consolidation of organizational structures and staffing, building unified solidarity, strictly maintaining military regularity and discipline, continuously enhancing training quality and political education, building comprehensively strong units, maintaining combat readiness, and standing prepared to accept and excellently fulfill all assigned missions. Beyond these duties, the units must actively support localities in socio-economic development, natural disaster prevention, and search and rescue across the area.
