On the eve of the Congress, aiming to promote dissemination work on the purpose and important meaning of this major political event, the Mường Lạn commune Youth Union has deployed many diverse forms of dissemination, suitable for local practical conditions.

Lò Văn Hoàng, Secretary of the Mường Lạn commune Youth Union, informed: From the beginning of January until now, the commune Youth Union has organized 3 waves of mobile dissemination, combining visual forms and oral dissemination through loudspeaker systems, panels, slogans, and propaganda images. These activities have contributed to bringing information about the 14th National Congress closer to officials, party members, union members, association members, and people in the area.

In the vibrant emulation atmosphere, many activities welcoming the Congress associated with voluntary movements for the community are actively deployed by Youth Union bases.

In the border commune of Sín Thầu, responding to the “Green Sunday” movement, more than 30 union members and youths in the commune participated in cleaning, clearing bushes, and collecting waste on roads with a total length of about 3km, contributing to cleaning and beautifying the rural landscape.

Secretary of the Sín Thầu commune Youth Union Chang Thị Dung said that previously, union members and youths in the commune actively participated in the winter volunteer program, supporting schools in cleaning campuses, transporting facilities, etc. The activities promoted the pioneering and voluntary spirit of the youth, contributing to creating a vibrant emulation atmosphere looking towards the 14th National Congress of the Party.

In cyberspace, dissemination work about the 14th National Party Congress is strongly responded to by union members and youths. Prominent is the action of simultaneously changing profile pictures, “covering in red” social networks with the message: “Vietnam Youth proud, firm faith following the Party.” This is a movement to change social network profile pictures launched by the Central Committee of the Hồ Chí Minh Communist Youth Union to welcome the 14th National Congress of the Party.

Secretary of the Mường Pồn commune Youth Union Quàng Thị Nguyệt said: “The whole commune currently has 400 union members and more than 2,000 youth members. On platforms like Facebook and Zalo, profile pictures bearing red color appear more and more, becoming a highlight in political dissemination work in cyberspace, attracting positive response from union members and youths.”

Not stopping at changing profile pictures, many union members and youths proactively share official information about the 14th National Party Congress; write messages sending to the Congress; participate in commenting and interacting positively, contributing to creating a healthy information environment in cyberspace.

Right on the first day of the Congress, in the excited atmosphere before the Opening Ceremony, together with the youth of the whole country, Điện Biên youth simultaneously organized sacred flag saluting ceremonies at union branches, team detachments, and schools throughout the province.

In Na Son commune, the ceremony was organized solemnly with rituals of flag saluting, singing the National Anthem, the Internationale, and the Youth Union Anthem. After the flag saluting ceremony, many activities looking towards the Congress continued to be actively deployed by the commune Youth Union. Prominent was the activity of screening documentary films disseminating about the Party and the 14th National Congress of the Party on January 20.

“The film screening attracted 220 union members and youths to participate. This is a special political activity, contributing to cultivating ideals, arousing the sense of responsibility of union members, adolescents, and children, and consolidating the iron faith of the youth in the Party’s leadership,” Lò Văn Thương, Secretary of the Na Son commune Youth Union, said.

Actions of the youth throughout the province look towards the 14th National Congress of the Party. By specific, practical deeds, Điện Biên youths are contributing their strength to the journey of building the homeland. That is also the way the young generation expresses iron faith in the Party, determined together with the entire Party, entire people, and entire army to successfully implement goals in the new tenure.
