The conference was attended by Trần Tiến Dũng, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, and Head of the provincial National Assembly Deputy Delegation, alongside members of the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee and leadership from both the provincial Military Command and the provincial People’s Procuracy.

During the proceedings, Phạm Đức Toàn, Member of the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee and Head of the provincial Party Committee’s Organization Commission, announced the specific decisions issued by the Secretariat.

According to Decision No.108-QĐNS/TW dated April 6, 2026, the Secretariat designated Phùng Mạnh Hùng, Chief Prosecutor of the Điện Biên provincial People’s Procuracy, to join the Executive Board of the Điện Biên provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term. Furthermore, under Decision No.163-QĐNS/TW dated April 29, the Secretariat designated Senior Colonel Vương Đình Hòa, Political Commissar of the Điện Biên provincial Military Command, to also participate in the Executive Board of the Điện Biên provincial Party Committee for the same term.

While presenting the decisions and offering congratulations to the two comrades trusted by the Secretariat, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Trần Tiến Dũng requested that Phùng Mạnh Hùng and Vương Đình Hòa continue to work alongside the Executive Board of the provincial Party Committee to effectively implement the resolutions set forth by the provincial Party Congress.

He emphasized that the two officials should quickly adapt to their new roles, maintain unity within the provincial Military Command and the provincial People’s Procuracy, and excellently complete all tasks assigned by the Party, the State, and the province. He also called upon the cadres, civil servants, officers, and soldiers within these units to create favorable conditions for Phùng Mạnh Hùng and Vương Đình Hòa to fulfill their assigned duties.

Representing the newly appointed officials, Phùng Mạnh Hùng expressed deep honor at receiving the trust of the provincial leaders and the Executive Board of the provincial Party Committee. Recognizing the significant requirements of his duties in this new phase, he committed to strictly following the instructions of the Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and adhering to the operational regulations and responsibilities of a member of the Executive Board of the provincial Party Committee. He further pledged to continuously study, practice, and improve his practical capacity in conjunction with professional work to effectively perform the political tasks of each unit while maintaining solidarity and innovation to successfully complete all tasks.
