Comrade Trần Tiến Dũng extends Tết wishes to provincial Police and Division 355

ĐBP - On the occasion of the 2026 Lunar New Year (Tết), on February 8, Trần Tiến Dũng, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Điện Biên provincial Party Committee, along with a provincial delegation, visited and extended Tết wishes to the officers and soldiers of the provincial Police and Division 355 (Military Region 2).

During the visit to the provincial Police, after listening to the unit leadership’s report on the summary of results for 2025 and key tasks for the early days of 2026, Trần Tiến Dũng acknowledged and praised the efforts of the provincial Police force in ensuring political security and social order. These contributions have effectively served the socio-economic development goals of the locality.

He highly appreciated the sense of responsibility and proactivity of the officers and soldiers in the context of increasingly heavy duties and higher requirements. Sharing in the challenges and hardships the entire force faces, he expressed his desire for the provincial Police to continue promoting their traditions of solidarity, discipline, and dedication to the people to fulfill all assigned tasks.

On the occasion of the spring of the new year, the provincial Party Secretary wished the leadership and all personnel of the provincial Police health, happiness, and prosperity. He encouraged them to continue achieving new victories and accomplishments. He hoped they would join the Party committee, government, and ethnic people of the province in striving to build Điện Biên province into a green, smart, and sustainable region that is drug-free, ensuring a peaceful life for everyone.

Visiting Division 355 (Military Region 2), Trần Tiến Dũng recognized and highly valued the important contributions of the division and the military forces in maintaining security and defense within the province. Officers and soldiers of the armed forces have remained ready to overcome difficulties, stay close to the grassroots, and support ethnic minority communities in highland areas to stabilize their lives after natural disasters and develop production.

Through these actions, he conveyed his trust and expectations for the close and persistent coordination between forces, contributing to the protection of peace and the building of an increasingly stable and developing Điện Biên border region.
