Trần Tiến Dũng, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Head of the provincial National Assembly Deputy Delegation, and Head of the Steering Committee, alongside the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee and Deputy Heads of the Steering Committee, chaired the conference.

A representative of the Party Committee of the provincial People’s Committee reported on the implementation progress of key projects across the province. These included the Sơn La - Điện Biên - Tây Trang Border Gate Expressway Project (Phase 1), the New Urban, Resort Tourism, and Sports Services Area Project in the Northwest of Điện Biên Phủ ward (Phase 1 spanning 101.7 ha), and the Cable Car Complex combined with Điện Biên Phủ Historical-Cultural Tourism Project. Other projects mentioned were the Huổi Phạ and Vicinity Urban, Commercial, Tourism, Service, and Golf Course Complex Project, the New Urban Area and Mường Thanh Airport Walking Street Project in Điện Biên Phủ ward, alongside several energy projects whose investment policies have been approved.

Also at the conference, the Party Committee of the provincial People’s Committee presented the land use rights auction plans for two projects and three land plots. These comprised the Him Lam New Urban Area Project to the East of the 60m road (7/5 road) Zone A, the Cultural and Culinary Exchange Complex Project (DV-17 Aquafinal plot), alongside the DV-18, DV-19, and HH-07 land plots. The total expected revenue to be collected stands at around VND 401 billion.

Concurrently, they presented the plan to establish a land fund for auctioning the HH-06 land plot, adjust the detailed planning of land lots along the 60m road axis, and review and propose land areas to be included in the land fund establishment plan for the 2026-2030 period. The Party Committee of the provincial People’s Committee also reported on the plan to guarantee the supply of common construction materials to serve key projects in the province during the 2026-2030 period.

During the conference, leaders of departments, sectors, and localities proposed solutions within their authority to untie bottlenecks and accelerate the execution progress of the province’s important projects. Concurrently, they reviewed the roadmaps and exploitation capacities of common construction material mines to ensure a stable supply, meeting the construction needs of key provincial works and projects in the coming time.

Delivering the closing remarks, provincial Party Committee Secretary Trần Tiến Dũng acknowledged and praised the efforts of departments, sectors, and localities in deploying the province’s important projects over the past period, particularly following the provincial Investment Promotion Conference.

Emphasizing the requirement to accelerate project progress in the coming period, the provincial Party Committee Secretary requested the Party Committee of the provincial People’s Committee, departments, sectors, and localities to thoroughly grasp the unified leadership and direction method from the central to local levels in the spirit of innovating mindsets and assigning tasks with a "clear people, clear work, clear time, clear results, clear responsibility, and clear authority" approach.

He requested the Party Committee of the provincial People’s Committee to urgently review all tasks of each project, clearly identifying every work item, milestone, and execution schedule, while assigning specific responsibilities to each agency, unit, and individual. Concurrently, they must focus on reviewing every difficulty, conclusively untie snags, and synchronously deploy solutions to accelerate the progress of key projects, generating momentum to drive the province’s economic growth in 2026.
